Frequently asked questions

Is the game free?

Yes. The beta is free and has no ads and no purchases. In the future the game may include ads: between levels, never while you play, and optional ads only for cosmetic rewards. A way to remove ads may be offered as a purchase. None of this is active in the beta.

My finger isn't recognised. What can I do?

The game needs two fingers on the screen at the same time, one per half. Keep each finger inside its own side, use the whole move rather than tiny wiggles, and follow the pace shown by the puck in the middle. With the phone flat on a table, two index fingers often work better than two thumbs.

What is the line in the middle?

It is the shared pace: one full up-and-down of the puck is one complete move. You don't have to be in the same position as the puck — only at the same speed. When it is about to change, FASTER or SLOWER appears.

What is the difference between EASY and STANDARD?

EASY has wider tolerances and a slower pace; STANDARD is the full challenge. They are two ways to play for everyone, not age groups. Each difficulty keeps its own progress, and you can switch from the challenge screen at any time.

Is it a music game?

No. There is music at several tempos, but it is only there to accompany you: the pace is shown on screen and only your movement is judged.

Can I play with a friend?

Yes, locally: in CHALLENGE you can play in turns passing the phone, or together on the same screen (up to 2 on a phone, 4 on a tablet), each with two fingers. In CRAZY you can copy the run code and send it to a friend, who replays the same run on their phone. There are no online leaderboards or network duels.

Will it train my brain?

TWOCRAZY is a game, made to be fun and to let you get better at it. We don't make any therapeutic, cognitive or medical claims.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in: your progress and settings are saved only on your device.

I lost my progress. Can you restore it?

Progress is stored on your device only, so uninstalling the game or clearing its data erases it and we cannot recover it.

Are there ads or tracking?

There are no ads in the beta. Once ads are introduced, you will be able to manage your ad choices in the game settings and on your phone (on iPhone: Privacy & Security › Tracking), as described in the Privacy Policy.

What is CRAZY?

The endless mode: tasks keep changing until your energy runs out. Every run has a code: the same code plays exactly the same run. Records stay on your device.

I'm in the TestFlight beta: what is shared?

The game sends no data. TestFlight (by Apple) may share with us crash reports and the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, together with the tester's name and email. Details are in the Privacy Policy, section 15.
